Situations involving domestic violence keeps happening with frequency. This is the case again today at Rooi Bosal.
Around 10:00 am today, the police arrived at a house in Rooi Bosal for a lady asking for help because she was mistreated.
When they arrived, the lady was waiting for them in the parking lot of Winston Field Stadium. Another police unit arrived and stationed the car to protect the identity of the victim, while the other police were taking a statement from the victim.
Moments later, both police units went to the address where the aggressor was staying, had a word with him, and was then escorted to the police car. He was taken to the police station in Macuarima.
