Eighteen more years in prison demanded against Joran van der Sloot

Joran van der Sloot, suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway and murder of Stephany Flores. Now there is another case against him that could mean another 18 years more in prison in Peru.

He is sitting out a sentence of 28 years for the murder of Stephany Flores, which occurred in 2010. 

The accusation against him is for smuggling drugs, together with his partner and others. They tried to smuggle 300 grams of cocaine and 140 grams of marihuana into the prison in Juliaca. Punishment of 18 years was demanded as punishment for both Joran and his girlfriend. The date of the sentence is still unknown.
