Police arrived at EPB Hato to deal with yet another case of a student being in the possession of drugs. This is becoming a serious and more frequently occurring problem that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
The police arrived at the school at around 10.30 am, to deal with a student that was in the possession of drugs. It must be noted that this is not the first instance of a student having been caught with drugs at school and suspected of distributing these drugs to other teens in the area.
It is understood that the student was not detained, however seeing as he was on school property, police were then called in order to detain him. Drugs at school have become a serious issue, between this case and the instance of the detainment of three other young men earlier this week who were found with large quantities of marijuana in their car around the same area.
