Fruit at School thanks to Compra and Tropic Ale

Early this morning, Compra N.V. arrived with the first fruit boxes by Ale, which is part of the campaign ‘Fruta na Scol.’ The first school to receive fruits was Scol Paso pa Futuro. This program is an initiative of Compra Ltd. and Tropical Ale.

Compra’s director, Hubert Dirksz, handed the first box over to the Minister of Education Rudy Lampe.

The Minister explained that every kindergartner school and schools for Special Needs education would receive fruits weekly. The pilot project will last 40 weeks. “Thanks to Compra for the initiative to contribute to healthier schools.”

The Minister said that this is a start to make the children aware that fruits, vegetables, and everything mother nature provides are essential for their health.

Mr. Dirksz is happy to have received cooperation from the Minister. Everything went so fast to start with the program. This Is something known to Europe. They believe that if children are taught from a young age to eat healthily, they will continue this healthy habit as grown-ups.

They went to 35 schools which sums up

3422 children and 148 classes. “Compra wants to cooperate in teaching kids to eat healthily. This is a great start, and I hope more companies will follow this initiative. Let’s put children first,” Compra’s director, Hubert Dirksz, expressed.
