At around 8:45 pm on Friday night, the police arrived at Dakota as quickly as possible. This is where two large groups decided to start a physical confrontation. When the first police officers arrived at the scene, they could not get the situation under control.
Police squads from Noord, Santa Cruz, Playa as well as a motorcycle unit arrived as backup. They managed to get the situation under control, and 4 people were arrested. This occurred right in front of Pacifico.
The police asked everyone to leave the bar and continued their patrol. This is not the first time law enforcement had to deal with this type of situation in this area, and it probably will not be the last.
