At 9:00 pm on Saturday night, two police patrols arrived at an apartment in Tomatenstraat in Dakota after receiving complaints. Here they were met with a couple that was in the middle of a heated argument. It had escalated to the point that they were threatening to attack one another.
The police were attempting to mediate the situation, but they were not receptive to their assistance. The woman was detained first, followed by the man. They were both put in the same transport vehicle and brought to the police station.
