The Aruba Police Force (KPA) once again took part in the popular Open Day event at the Marines Barracks in Savaneta, held annually on May 1st. The KPA shares a strong and ongoing partnership with the Marines, and their presence has become a key feature of the event.
This year, police academy students from the E.J. Watty Vos School, along with the K-9 Unit, were on hand to demonstrate various aspects of police work to the public. The students showcased arrest procedures, while the K-9 Unit gave an impressive display of how officers apprehend armed suspects.
The event drew a large and diverse crowd, with people of all ages enjoying the opportunity to see the police in action up close. It was a highly successful day—not only for the KPA, but also for its partner, the Marines Barracks—who once again delivered a well-organized and engaging event with positive results.
