Aruban Olympic Committee meets with key partners

by Nicole

The Aruban Olympic Committee (COA) recently hosted a productive and engaging meeting with several key partners who play an important role in the island’s sports community. The session was held as part of the MEMOS (Executive Masters in Sports Organization Management) program, in which Jonathan Wever is currently participating.

The main objective of the focus group was to collect additional data to complement the results of a survey conducted between 2020 and 2022. That earlier survey, which included input from all sports federations and organizations, served as both an evaluation tool and a starting point for identifying areas needing improvement in Aruba’s sports infrastructure and management.

Participants in the conversation included representatives from the Aruban Olympic Committee (COA), the Aruba Sports Union (ASU), and the Ministry of Sports, all of whom shared valuable insights to help strengthen future sports development on the island.
