Aruban racer Miljenka Franken involved in crash

Miljenka Franken was involved in an accident on the Maryland International Raceway track on Friday afternoon while competing in the XDA event. She was racing with Pro Bike when the incident occurred.

Franken was transported to the hospital by helicopter, though the full extent of her injuries is not yet known. Initial reports indicate that she crashed into the track’s wall. Following the impact, Franken was unable to feel her legs.
