For the first time, the 24ora.com team welcomed five children from the ‘Buki di Pret’ vacation program for a behind-the-scenes visit to the Headlines Group office.
Quishon Jones, Leah Hernández, Vira Richardson, Ruben Vogelaar, and Zenny Henriquez signed up for the opportunity to learn how 24ora.com operates and what goes into producing news each and every day.
The visit began with an introduction to the work of Headlines Group, followed by a guided tour of the facilities. The children visited the production and newsroom departments, where staff members introduced themselves and explained their roles within the organization.
During the visit, the participants also created a TikTok video with members of the 24ora.com team and learned some of the basics of video editing.
The group later toured the Enfoke studio, where they took part in a live segment during the program. They also stepped into the role of reporters by presenting their own news story, which was recorded as a short news video.
At the end of the visit, the children said they had enjoyed the experience and looked forward to returning to 24ora.com during next year’s ‘Buki di Pret’ vacation program.
