Animal Welfare Alliance Aruba (AWAA) is once again offering free sterilization for household pets, specifically targeting residents of De Vuyst, The Village, Sabana Basora, Dakota, and FCCA housing in Noord.
This campaign is part of AWAA’s ongoing mission to support low-income families in caring for their pets and to reduce the number of stray animals on the island. The organization urges residents in these neighborhoods to take advantage of this opportunity to sterilize their cats and dogs at no cost.
Free sterilization campaign: May 22–30
From May 22 to 30, AWAA will focus on pets in the following areas:
- De Vuyst
- The Village
- Sabana Basora
- Dakota
- FCCA neighborhood in Noord

If you would like to sterilize your dog or cat but cannot afford the procedure, AWAA is ready to help. This initiative is part of the organization’s broader effort to decrease the excessive number of stray animals in Aruba and to improve animal welfare both now and in the future.
