Friday afternoon at around 1:30 pm, an accident occurred at the Waterweg and Middenweg intersection. Two vehicles were involved in the crash that caused a huge traffic jam in Playa.
This crash involved a car with the license plate “baby”, whose driver did not give traffic on the main road the right of way, which resulted in the accident.
While the crash itself was minor, it had a serious impact on traffic, as it caused a huge traffic jam near the former Burger King building.
Traffic police arrived at the scene to document the incident so that the vehicles could get off the road which would then allow traffic to flow normally once again.
