The non-profit organization Tienda di Educacion (TdE), together with the Aruba Police Force (KPA ) and other partners, recently held a workshop to share valuable insights on communication. The training drew from their experience in St. Maarten and was part of an Erasmus+ project.
Romely Flanegin, director of TdE, explained that the team traveled from Cede Aruba to participate and gained a lot from the program. During the workshop, they shared information with field workers and others interested in the topic.
Participants included representatives from TdE, Neighborhood Police, UNESCO, and Erasmus+, all of whom collaborated to create the workshop.

The goal of the training was to explore different learning methods—through visual observation, real-life examples, and interactive sessions. Topics covered included positive communication techniques and teamwork skills. Flanegin expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed and took part.
Roland Maduro of Neighborhood Police said the workshop was organized by Cede Aruba, EduCampus, UNESCO, and Tienda di Educacion. The focus was on “Non-violent communication and ways of learning,” aiming to educate educators, teachers, partners, and even police officers. This helped participants better understand the key messages.
Maduro also invited the public to attend future workshops and noted that the organizers are happy to offer the training to anyone interested in learning more about non-violent communication and effective learning methods.
