Two weeks after organizers of the Bright Summer Festival announced rising star KAPO as one of the festival’s headlining acts, another major name has now been added to the lineup. The legendary Latin reggae band Cultura Profética is officially confirmed to perform live on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Bushiri Beach.
Formed in 1996, Cultura Profética has recorded five studio albums and one iconic live tribute album to Bob Marley. Their timeless hits include Saca, Prende y Sorprende, La Espera, Ilegal, La Complicidad, and a well-loved cover of Sin Ti by King Changó. The band was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album at the 21st Annual Latin Grammy Awards. Their music is known for blending reggae, jazz, and Caribbean rhythms, while their lyrics are celebrated for raising awareness about global and social issues.
Bright Summer Festival is a new two-day experience presented by Pelican Pier, Elite Empire Entertainment, and Infinity Media & Events. Inspired by the beloved “Bright Summer Sessions,” the concept has now expanded into a full festival weekend. The main concert takes place on Saturday, August 9 at Bushiri Beach, and on Sunday, August 10, the iconic Pier Party (Bright Summer Sessions) will close out the experience. It’s important to note that Sunday’s event is already sold out.

Bright Summer Festival has successfully secured a diverse and high-level musical lineup that Aruba is sure to enjoy. Beyond the performances, the organizers are putting strong emphasis on creating a complete guest experience — from arrival to departure. After many years without a large-scale music festival on the beach, this edition promises to be truly unique, kicking off from 6:00 PM and offering an unforgettable sunset-to-nightfall vibe.
Amstel Bright is the festival’s proud main sponsor, and together with Romar Trading, they are committed to delivering an unforgettable two days of music with strong inventory, special pricing, and creative promotions leading up to the event.
Tickets are already selling quickly. General Admission and Standing VIP tickets are available at Citgo Boulevard, Citgo Essoville, Pay.aw, and brightsummeraruba.com. VIP tables are all ready sold out.

As previously announced, other confirmed artists include Kapo, Jeon, Mystical Connection, DJ Krokz, Yeimy, Nutzbeatz, Mark Benson, MC Tarrick Ras, and Chris Strick.
In addition to the main stage, the festival will also feature the House of Friends Stage, presented by Casamigos Tequila, showcasing electronic music by top local and international DJs including DJ M, Steve Andreas, Pava, DJ V, Alex, and Adrian Croes.
