Cultural Parade 2025 a vibrant celebration of Aruba’s heritage

by Nicole

The Cultural Parade 2025 took place on Sunday and proved to be a spectacular event. The parade kicked off precisely at 3:00 pm from the Community Center in Brazil, with lively performances from various bands setting the tone. It opened with the banner of the Chico Harm Foundation, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Residents from Brazil – and nearby neighborhoods came out in full support, while crowds of spectators gathered early to watch and sing along.

This year saw a notable increase in participants compared to previous parades, with more bands joining the festivities. One of the highlights was the large number of children and teens taking part, creating a joyful and animated atmosphere.

This year, ATA served as an official sponsor of the Cultural Parade 2025, a generous show of support for Aruba’s culture. Greater promotion in the future could help make this an annual event that also allows visitors to experience more of Aruba’s cultural richness.

Congratulations to the Chico Harm Foundation for organizing such a beautiful parade, enjoyed by the entire island as part of the Dia di Brazil celebrations.
