Early Saturday morning, around 4:30 am, a car accident occurred at the curve in the road between Kibaima and the roundabout near the Drive-In.
The vehicle, a Nissan March, was carrying two passengers and the driver at the time of the crash. Initial reports suggested the car may have flipped, but when police arrived, they found the vehicle still in place, resting upright on all four wheels.
The car sustained considerable damage. Although the passengers appeared to have suffered some blows, their injuries did not seem serious. Police closed one lane of the road while waiting for the tow truck and insurance representatives to arrive and document the scene.
