Early this morning, firefighters and police worked together to stop a fire from spreading to a family’s home in the Virgilia neighborhood.
Just before 2:00 am, emergency units were called to the area after a large patch of dry grass caught fire. The flames posed a serious risk to a nearby house, putting the family inside in a vulnerable situation.
Fire crews moved quickly to contain the blaze, preventing it from reaching the home and spreading further. Thanks to their rapid response, the fire was brought under control and the family remained safe.
