Tonight marks the 10th edition of the Flip Flop Festival. Several artists have already arrived in Aruba, and a press conference was held Friday afternoon. During the event, each performer gave a preview of what fans can expect. Hosts Mark Benson Denz and Laura Molina also shared final details about the festival. Gates will open at 6:00 pm, and the event will run until 3:00 am.
There will be two separate entrances: one for the table section and another for general admission, which includes standing VIP. Multiple bars and a variety of food trucks will be available throughout the night. Organizers are pleased to report that thousands of attendees have already exchanged their tickets for wristbands. For those who haven’t, exchanges will still be possible at the entrance tonight.
This year is expected to draw a record-breaking crowd, with more than 7,000 people anticipated. Although artists Beéle, Mr. Vegas, and Yung Bredda were unable to attend the press conference, BB Bad, Rafik, and Blaka Dan shared their excitement in person.
International DJ Bianca “BB Bad” Dijkhoffz is performing in Aruba for the first time and making her debut at the Flip Flop Festival. She said she’s excited to bring her energy and Caribbean vibes to the stage. Her set will feature a mix of Caribbean music, and she promises an unforgettable show. She invited everyone to come out and experience the energy of Flip Flop for themselves.
Singer Wrenroy “Blaka Dan” Ogiste said performing at Flip Flop is a unique experience. He considers Aruba his second home and is eager to give a great performance. He’s especially looking forward to sharing the stage with the band Tsunami. He encouraged everyone to come out and enjoy the music and atmosphere.
Rafik Al-Hariri, another performer, said this is his first Flip Flop Festival appearance and that it’s an honor to be in Aruba. He expects Saturday night to be a memorable one and believes it will be the best show of his career. He plans to perform around ten songs during a 30-minute set, joined on stage by dancers and musicians. He encouraged fans to arrive early, as there will be surprises throughout the night.
Jessica de Veer of Tropical Bottling Company said this 10th edition of the Flip Flop Festival has already broken records. She expressed how excited she is to be part of the event once again, calling it the best edition so far.
She added that it’s a point of pride to see such strong community support. The organizing team has spent months preparing, and everything is now ready. The positive response hasn’t only come from Aruba but also from Bonaire and other countries. De Veer reminded attendees to come early and grab the last remaining tickets—and to enjoy the night responsibly.
