Four suspects arrested for alleged tourist theft

by Nicole

On Wednesday morning, at around 11:00 am, a police arrest team conducted a targeted operation at a residence in Seroe Janchi, a location previously flagged by authorities for suspected drug-related activity. The raid led to the arrest of four individuals—three men and one woman—who are now suspected of involvement in the theft of personal belongings from tourists.

During the operation, police officers carried out a detailed search of two vehicles found at the scene. Several items were seized from inside the cars, though officials have not yet disclosed the specific nature of the confiscated goods. The vehicles involved include a dark silver Honda City bearing license plate A-54880 and a blue Honda Fit with license plate A-80909.

Following the arrests, the suspects were transported in police custody to the local station. The case is now under review by a prosecutor, who will determine the next steps in the legal process.

Police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and remind the public to remain vigilant, especially in high-traffic tourist areas.
