The Brazil neighborhood came alive on Friday night with the annual Lantern Parade, organized by the Chico Harms Foundation. This year’s edition was one of the largest ever, with weeks of preparation leading up to the event.
Eleven groups took part in the parade, each accompanied by its own band that kept the energy high and the crowd entertained. Families filled the streets, with children and adults alike gathering to enjoy the colorful display.
This year’s parade was extra special, as it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Brazil Community Center, adding even more significance to the celebration.
