On Friday morning, the Minister of Education Gerlien Croes attended a team-building event organized by Bureau Traimerdia. The event, held in collaboration with the Department of Human Resources, focused on topics such as emotional intelligence, team unity, and professional development in the field of child care and guidance.
Bureau Traimerdia is the only government organization that provides after-school care and guidance to children. Its services allow parents to participate in the workforce with greater peace of mind and fewer concerns.
A central theme of Traimerdia’s program is the formation of children based on strong norms and values. The program is designed with flexibility, allowing it to adapt to the individual needs of each child. It focuses on the comprehensive development of children across social, emotional, physical, and intellectual areas.

Educational support activities include homework assistance, learning stimulation, and special initiatives to encourage reading. In addition, activities in manual skills and drawing, music, movement expression, sports, and games aim to spark children’s interests and motivate them to further develop their talents in these areas.
“I am pleased to have attended the seminar organized by Bureau Traimerdia. It is important for Traimerdia’s team to continue educating and strengthening themselves. Their work is essential, as they care for and guide our children, helping to shape better human beings who will one day serve our community,” Minister Croes said.
Minister Croes thanked the Traimerdia team for their dedication and also expressed her commitment to maintaining a close relationship with the organization.
