The “micropaving” road maintenance project, once hailed as an innovative solution, has shown disappointing results. The pilot program, launched by DOW, was designed to repair streets that are damaged or deteriorating using a modern micropaving system.
However, completed sections of the project appear uneven and poorly finished. It is unclear whether the work was fully completed, but the visible results suggest the repairs have not met expectations.
The method leaves the road surface scraped and irregular, making it difficult for drivers to navigate safely. Many areas look sloppy, raising concerns that proper care was not taken to ensure long-lasting results or to prepare for a potential next phase of maintenance.
