Aruba’s Prime Minister, Mike Eman, traveled to the Netherlands last Friday with a delegation to participate in a series of meetings with Dutch leaders and politicians. The visit is focused on reinforcing cooperation and strengthening relations within the Kingdom.
On Monday, Prime Minister Eman met with Karsten Klein, a member of the Dutch CDA party, in the context of the upcoming elections for the Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives). During their meeting, Eman expressed his gratitude to Klein for arranging an agenda that reflects the Prime Minister’s key priorities.
The two politicians have a long-standing friendship and share a common vision on how to strengthen Kingdom relations, emphasizing “win-win” opportunities for both the Netherlands and Aruba. Klein’s prominent position on the CDA candidate list, and his potential future role in the Tweede Kamer, could help ensure this vision receives the necessary political attention in the Netherlands.
Klein thanked Eman for accepting his invitation and pledged that, if elected, he would work to keep this vision on the Dutch political agenda.
