On May 10th, seven Aruban students, accompanied by two facilitators, attended the graduation ceremony at Wayne State College in Nebraska, where they received their Master of Science in Education degrees. The college currently hosts several students from Aruba, and this year, ten successfully completed the program.
The graduates are Clarice Buffalini, Miloushka Wernet, Gwenn Davelaar, Xzmyra Croes, Danielle Kole, Giorgino Vrolijk, Jaderick Croes, Zuleika Arends, Jessica Franken, and Richelle Noel. Throughout their studies, they were supported by facilitators Roke Hoen and Darrelyn Maduro.
Three additional students — Janirra Kock, Joan Simon, and Cristianne Augusto — are expected to graduate soon, as they are in the final stages of their research projects.

The graduates followed the Educational Behavioral program at Wayne State College, with a specialization in Curriculum & Leadership. The coursework was delivered online and also facilitated locally in Aruba. The students received academic support from Wayne State College’s Dean, Professor Chris Legler.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the participation of graduate Gwenn Davelaar, who was selected to deliver the invocation speech at the opening of the event. Her address proudly put Aruba in the spotlight while sharing a positive message for all Master’s graduates across the various departments.
