On Tuesday afternoon, the Narcotics Unit of the Aruba Police Force carried out a search at a house on Heidestraat in Noord. During the operation, officers arrested a 70-year-old Aruban man, identified by the initials H.R.D.
Inside the home, police discovered quantities of drugs, including cocaine and marijuana, as well as a large amount of cash. Both the drugs and the money were confiscated.
Several teams supported the operation, including the K-9 Unit, the Rapid Response Team (RRT), and uniformed police officers. Authorities noted this was not the first time they had carried out a search at this address.
The Aruba Police Force is encouraging anyone who has information or has witnessed suspicious activity to call their anonymous tip line at 11141. All reports will be kept confidential.
