Around midday on Friday the 13th, a traffic accident involving three vehicles took place on Rudolf Arendsstraat.
According to initial reports, an Arugas truck was exiting Rudolf Arendsstraat and attempted to enter the main road. However, the truck failed to yield to a white car approaching from Weststraat, which had the right of way. The white car was struck on the side, causing it to swerve and collide with a third vehicle that was waiting to merge onto the road.
The impact left the vehicles with visible damage, particularly the white car, which sustained dents and damage to its front.
Wet and slippery roads from recent rain may have contributed to the accident. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution—especially at busy intersections where visibility and stopping distances can be affected.
