Three cars were involved in an accident in Bakval on Saturday morning, just before 10:00 am.
A white SUV merged onto the road without yielding to oncoming traffic, leading to a collision with another vehicle. This car then struck a third vehicle coming from the opposite direction, which was being driven by a tourist couple who was on their way to the beach.
The female tourist sustained minor injuries. An ambulance arrived promptly to attend to her, and police were dispatched to the scene.
The accident resulted in significant material damage. Fortunately, the deployment of the airbags helped prevent more serious injuries among the victims during the impact.
