Twenty-two members of the Aruba Police Force marked an important career milestone during a diploma ceremony held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the J.F.K. Education Center.
The ceremony recognized 11 police recruits who successfully completed their basic police training and 11 police officers who graduated from the Midden Kader Opleiding (MKO), or Middle Management Training Program.
Among those in attendance were Minister of Justice Arthur Dowers, Police Commissioner Ramon Arnhem, Police Academy Director E.J. “Watty” Vos, Sherina Arrindel, members of the police leadership, colleagues, and family members. Diplomas were first presented to the graduates of the basic police training program, followed by those who completed the MKO program.
Police Commissioner Ramon Arnhem emphasized the importance of continuous professional development within the police force.
“Every colleague should have the opportunity to continue growing through courses and training programs,” Arnhem said. “Today we are seeing the results of that investment, with 11 police recruits earning their basic training diplomas and 11 officers completing the MKO program. By working together and investing in our people, we can see our colleagues continue to progress. I also want to thank their families for their support, which has helped these officers reach another milestone in their policing careers. I am very proud of them.”
The Aruba Police Force congratulated all 22 graduates on earning their diplomas and wished them continued success in their careers in law enforcement.
