On Friday night around 8:00 pm, a traffic accident took place in Morgenster, near Feng Hing Supermarket, involving an uninsured vehicle.
Two silver SUVs were involved—one a Chevrolet and the other a Hyundai Santa Fe. The rear of the Chevrolet sustained extensive damage; the impact was so severe that one of its rear tires was dislodged and thrown several meters away. The force of the crash also caused the vehicle’s airbags to deploy. The Hyundai Santa Fe also suffered significant front-end damage.
Traffic police responded to the scene and both lanes of the road were temporarily closed to document the incident and conduct the necessary investigation.

During the course of the investigation, police discovered a bag containing a large amount of cash inside one of the vehicles, raising suspicions. Officers began a careful search of the SUV to determine whether any illegal items were present.
It was later confirmed that the Santa Fe was not insured and had been without coverage for approximately ten days. Police questioned the driver about the lapse in insurance and the large amount of money he was carrying.
The investigation is ongoing as police continue to gather information from the driver and examine the contents of the vehicle.
