The Regatta Festival in Bonaire is a vibrant celebration of culture, food, and music, with an unforgettable performance by JC & Friends that left the audience wanting more. The event featured a unique mix of traditional Creole elements combined with modern influences.
In addition to the traditional Creole dishes served throughout the festival, attendees also enjoyed a variety of plates from different countries in the Dutch Caribbean. The lively atmosphere in Bonaire was palpable, and JC & Friends was among the standout acts, delivering an incredible performance that had the crowd fully engaged.
Jurnick Clarinda, manager and lead singer of JC & Friends, expressed how much the band enjoyed the experience. As in previous years, the audience was deeply connected with the music, and the band delivered yet another impressive show. This year, however, was particularly special. Unlike the previous year, when there was no show, this year’s event brought even more excitement and energy.

JC & Friends consists of five singers and nine musicians, and they have exciting plans ahead. Soon, they will be performing in Aruba, with a return visit scheduled for September during Dia di Boneiro. They also have plans to expand their reach to Brazil to foster cultural exchange with Aruba.
Clarinda encouraged fans to look out for JC & Friends in the future. “We love our people in Aruba, our people in the Netherlands, in Curaçao—our language Papiamento is growing, and we’re here to have fun.” Friday night was undoubtedly a celebration of music, energy, and joy.
Besides JC & Friends and TSeaN, Sint Maarten also made a strong impression with DJ BB Bad, a charismatic performer both on and off the stage.

DJ BB Bad delivered an outstanding set that the audience thoroughly enjoyed. She shared that this was her first time in Bonaire, and she was blown away by the crowd’s energy and enthusiasm. From the people at the back to those at the front, everyone enjoyed an amazing show.
When asked about her plans to perform in Aruba, DJ BB Bad said she would come if the people of Aruba wanted her to. There’s no doubt that the people of Aruba are excited to see DJ BB Bad perform, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for when she arrives to put on another unforgettable show.
