Flight from Delta to New York canceled: stewardess fell ill

On Sunday, a large group of tourists was stuck at the airport. They arrived at the airport to catch the Delta flight DL612 to New York at 11:00 am.

Initially, all passengers were informed that the flight would be delayed. They kept pushing the departure time by an hour each time. By 7:00 pm, they decided to cancel the flight. A stewardess fell ill, which made it impossible for the flight to proceed. They tried every possible way to resolve the situation but couldn’t. It was understood that the flight was a “full flight.” The ground service company, Gen Air, arranged accommodation and transportation for all passengers. Of course, some passengers were upset about the situation, especially considering that for some, the following Monday is a regular workday, and for others, there are connecting flights to other destinations.

Sunday turned out to be busy for Gen Air, as another airline they represent in Aruba, Tui, also canceled their flight. Tui needed to depart from Aruba to the Netherlands, but due to technical issues with the plane, they couldn’t take off. They explained the situation to all passengers.

Aside from the technical issues, there was also a crack found in one of the airplane’s windows, so they decided to ground the plane. All necessary precautions were taken.
