Saba held activities for Labor Day

Upon Judith Croes’s invitation and guided by Actividad at the Palisiaweg Care Center, Bradley Versprey, also known as Easy B, was present at the Labor Day celebration at the Palisiaweg Care Center in San Nicolas.

Easy B was there at the invitation of Judith Croes, the activity guide, to witness and celebrate Labor Day by singing his song ‘Together’. Easy B said it was a unique feeling to visit a care center, where sooner or later, we will all reach that age, to share love and joy. He also wished them a Happy Labor Day.

Furthermore, Easy B indicated that he enjoyed the atmosphere the elders brought with them, and how they live with the songs. And when they invite him, it’s because they enjoy the songs a lot and they are close to Aruba as a whole. “For me, it was a pleasure to be able to share, sing, and dance together with them in connection with Labor Day.

MESSAGE
Easy B continued to say that one day we all have to go. Regardless of your race or the color of your skin, it doesn’t matter if you’re single. “One day we have to go, and we need to take care of each other because that shows love.”

We share love, because that’s the work we do, we need to respect each other and take care of each other. One day we have to go and take care of each other. Because that’s their job, to share unity, because that’s the work the caregivers share, the unity and the love. We share unity, a wheelchair, a flag, a heart. A very sweet feeling.

That’s the message for the people of Aruba and the whole world.

Bradley said he was surprised by the reception his song received, during and after the parades. It was something different for Aruba, for the first time they came with a groovy soca monarch, and it was a new style for everyone.

Finally, he wished the workers a Happy Labor Day, and a lot of strength to continue giving our elders the best possible care.
