Expectations are high for the Aruba Soul Beach Music Festival

The twenty-second edition of the Aruba Soul Beach Music Festival 2024 promises to be an unforgettable event, led by iconic artists Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.

Aruba is, once again, gearing up to host the prestigious Soul Beach Music Festival, an event that promises to be spectacular with a lineup of internationally renowned artists. There will also be a wide variety of activities to suit every taste. With the arrival of approximately seven thousand tourists, the festival promises to become one of the island’s most prominent events of the year.

The festival will take place during Memorial Day Weekend, from May 22nd to 27th, in Aruba. The lineup includes comedians Earthquake and DJ Jazzy Jeff, guaranteeing a diverse and entertaining experience for those present.

On Wednesday, everything kicks off with a party to warmly welcome all visitors to our island. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the Soul Beach atmosphere in Noord, between South Beach and Baru Lounge.

On Thursday and Friday, there will be a beach party at Moomba Beach, starting from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. On Friday evening, the itinerary continues with a comedy night featuring Earthquake. Saturday’s headliners include Skip Marley and the much-awaited artist Mariah Carey, while Sunday features Boyz II Men and Tamia.

All these parties will have an afterparty, not only as an exclusive package for tourists but also for our local community.

This year, the Aruba Soul Beach Music Festival will be celebrating its twenty-second edition. Soul Beach has decided to make Aruba its home for many years now. The festival has an economic impact of 12.4 million dollars on our economy, not including the indirect aspects.

It is an economic boost, not only in production but also in food, services, and security. The whole island sees this economic impact. It’s not just for the weekend either, since according to Soul Beach data, visitors stay an average of six days or more. They take the time to enjoy their vacation, explore the island, and attend the concerts.

Visitors have a spending capacity of $2000 to $2500 per person. They have that purchasing power, they spend it on our island, whether it’s visiting a restaurant, having drinks, attending concerts, etc.

For many years, the economic impact has been significant, and last year it had a contribution of 25 million dollars, and it can be said that this is the festival that brings the most visitors, and at the end of the day, the whole island enjoys the impact that the festival brings to us.
