The highly anticipated Flip Flop Festival is just around the corner, taking place on Saturday, June 1, 2024! The public’s response has been overwhelmingly positive, and ticket sales reflect the excitement. Whether you’re a fan of the soca band ‘Kes The Band’, dem bow artist ‘Angel Dior’, Mical Teja, or Alex Sensation, there’s something for everyone. DJ Latu from Holland, Ziggi Recado & The Nayamari Band will set the perfect atmosphere at Bushiri Beach starting from 6 pm in the afternoon.
In Aruba, concerts and festivals often focus on a single genre, such as Vallenato or Bachata. What makes the Flip Flop Festival stand out each year, and this year is no exception, is its diverse musical lineup. From international artists of Soca, Reggaeton/Dem Bow, to Reggae, the festival offers a wide range of music. The DJs will create a unique atmosphere as-well. Aruba’s own bands Tsunami and Mystical Connection will also be performing.
Local and international DJs will play a significant role in the Flip Flop Festival. Expect performances by Steve Andreas, DJ Sky, Nutzbeatz, Yeimy, Dr. Eli, DJ Whiteboy, and more. The ‘Caribang x Bacardi’ DJ Area will feature the renowned Dutch organization Caribang, presenting DJs Essovilla, Menasa, Adrian Noble, and other surprises. MC Samil and MC Tarrick will keep the crowd entertained.
Chill Beer announces that the event will begin at 6 PM, allowing attendees to enjoy a beautiful sunset while sipping a cold Chill on the beach. There will be special prices for Chill and various products from ‘Brouwerij Balashi and Tropical Bottling Company’.
The event will also feature a ‘food court’ with a variety of food options for the attendees. This adds to the complete festival experience, marking a much-anticipated return after a few years.
While events in Aruba often do not sell out, the Flip Flop Festival is likely to be an exception this year. Tickets are selling fast, and Elite Empire Entertainment advises everyone to purchase theirs soon, as beach space is limited. General tickets are priced at 65 florins, with standing VIP (direct access in front of the stage) at 125 florins.
