Accident with Significant Material Damage in Camacuri

Early Saturday morning, at around 1:50 am, an accident with substantial material damage occurred in Camacuri, near Do it Center. The driver of a white Kia Seltos lost control and swerved off the road, crashing into a streetlight, resulting in the car being wrecked.

The rear door of the car was completely torn off, and during the process, the car’s tire came off. The driver was experiencing pain, so an ambulance was called to provide the necessary medical attention.

The light pole was bent, and Elmar personnel had to come to remove the two lights that were dangling dangerously, then installed a new light pole and restored its function.

Traffic police arrived at the scene, noting that it was a police officer driving a work vehicle that had the accident. They also administered a breathalyzer test to see if he was under the influence of alcohol.

The police closed both sides of the road to prevent traffic from passing through.

Meanwhile, the driver was taken to the hospital. The material damage was considerable.
