Aruban Dies in the Dominican Republic Due to Negligence

A young Aruban lost his life in a hospital in the Dominican Republic. The country’s authorities are blamed for what happened to Jayrick Steven Patrick Farro. It is feared that medical negligence caused the young man’s unexpected death.

He had been complaining for some time about a dental problem; A tooth was causing him discomfort. He informed them of his situation. However, they refused to help him. When the situation worsened, they rushed him to the hospital, where he was admitted.

Jayrick Farro was only 31 years old. While hospitalized, he spoke to his father on the phone just this past Friday afternoon. By 7:00 pm, they received the tragic news that Jayrick had passed away.

The Dutch Embassy in the Dominican Republic immediately intervened and contacted the family in Aruba. It was a severe blow to his father, Patrick Farro, and mother, Jacky Feliciano, in Aruba.

Now, the process of bringing Jayrick Farro’s body back to Aruba will begin so that the family can prepare his funeral. There is a high likelihood that a lawsuit for negligence will be filed against the authorities and the justice system of the Dominican Republic.

The family was in the process, together with the authorities, to have Jayrick come to Aruba soon while he was still alive. However, things went wrong, and now, due to negligence, Jayrick Farro has passed away.

Our sincerest condolences go out to the entire family during this difficult time.
