Nearly 15000 tourists arrive in Aruba aboard cruise ships

Yesterday morning, a lot of movement could be seen around the Oranjestad port. This is not surprising because from early on, cruise ships began to dock.

On Tuesday June 18th, there were three ships docked at the port: Celebrity Beyond, Carnival Celebration, and Carnival Vista. If you count the number of passengers they carry, plus the crew members, it is estimated to be around 15000 people.

Even though there are many tourists, the kiosk owners revealed that they did not feel a significant increase in sales. A few of them purchase something, while most of them just walk on by. Perhaps the kiosks need to change their strategies or evaluate if their prices are too high.

The fact remains that tourists do not always wish to shop on the island. What they do when disembarking from the ships varies. Some come to explore different areas of Aruba, like go to the beach or natural park, while others shop or want to try the local cuisine.

What is certain is that they are happy to have visited Aruba for a few hours, as can be seen from their happy faces. The last ship departed at 11:00 pm.
