Coast Guard officials spotted a vehicle in the area of the Dog Cemetery which immediately raised suspicions. When investigated by officials, the occupant acted insubordinately.
Police were also called to the scene. The incident occurred around 2:00 am when officials encountered a white Jeep (V-2906) with only the driver in the vehicle. The person was told that his presence in the area raised suspicions as the area is known to authorities as a place where illegal immigrants enter the island.
Officials from both departments reprimanded the person in the vehicle and explained what the consequences are in case they do not cooperate. A while later officials left the scene after nothing suspicious was found in the vehicle.
