Police responded right away to reports of a fight between two taxi drivers at the taxi parking lot in front of the airport. Different patrol units arrived at the scene together with ‘grenspolitie’ (border police) to assist with the situation.
The incident occurred around 2:00 pm when an injured person was found. From what was understood there, issues between the two have been ongoing for some time now. One of the taxi drivers explained how he had text messages as proof of the threats he has been receiving.
Meanwhile, the injured taxi driver mentioned that he was going to press charges. Paramedics were called to assist as well. No arrests were made at the scene but chances are this will likely occur in the near future.
