An unfortunate accident occurred this morning on Professor Lorentzstraat in Downtown when a motorcyclist ran into a pedestrian crossing the street.
Around 9:00 am, different police units including motor units responded to the incident to assist with the injured person. A man on a motorcycle had collided with a female pedestrian the moment he went to cross the road.
Fortunately, she was not seriously injured but was complaining of pain in the hip and her face where she received some trauma. Paramedics also arrived at the scene and later transported the woman to the hospital.
