Last night at around 11:45 pm, a utility pole caught fire. This happened in the neighborhood of Jan Flemming, and the neighborhood was left without power as a result.
Police arrived at the scene to ensure no one got too close and to file a report. NV ELMAR personnel were requested to come to the scene to fix the utility pole.
The presence of the fire department was not requested to extinguish the fire.
