At approximately 1:30 PM, a fatal accident occurred in front of a house in Calabas. Upon arrival at the scene, it was noted that it was an accident between a car and a motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle was found across the road near the corner of a house. Medical personnel found no response from this person and decided to cover him immediately, indicating that he has likely passed away.
the victim has been identified as 28-year-old Jefferson Lopes, who lived right around the corner of where the accident took place.
Jefferson Lopes was married, but had no children. He was very well-known in the football community and played for teams including RCA and SV Caiquetio.
Traffic experts at the scene immediately began their investigation and tested the driver of the car involved in the accident. The initial test showed that the driver had consumed alcohol and exceeded the legal limit.
