The delegation of horse riders made a tremendous presentation in Curaçao this past weekend. On Saturday, all three Aruban horses won prizes in their competitions.
‘Oasis de los Sauces’ from ‘Criadero Hermanos Bruin’ achieved first place in its category and also became the Grand Champion in the Trocha modality. In the Paso Fino category, ‘Suavidad de la Siberia’ from ‘Criadero W’ took first place in its category and became the Reserve Grand Champion in the Championship.
The de Cuba family’s ‘Secreto de Magico’ also won first place in its category, and then in the Championship, it was named the First Runnner-up.
On Sunday, the delegation of 6 riders got their turn to enter the arena. Here, Aruba obtained 3 silver medals.
In the category of Junior Female Riders, Zaria de Groot won a silver medal and Emilie Lomans got fourth place. In Junior Male Riders, Zachary Coffie also won a silver medal in his category. Xielle Koolman got third place, and Carolina de Cuba placed fourth in the Amateur Female Rider category.
Finally, Aruba closed the evening with another silver medal from Jenilee de Cuba in the Senior Female Riders category. For this delegation, Zaria, Zachary, Xielle, and Carolina all competed for the first time in Curaçao. Congratulations to everyone for the beautiful representation on our sister island.
