Public Prosecution Service: People with Outstanding Fines Cannot Travel

The border police will, upon request from the Public Prosecution Service, continue to stop travelers who have unpaid fines during the upcoming holiday period. Individuals with outstanding fines run the risk of being detained by the border police and will not be allowed to continue their journey until they have settled their fines.

This could, among other consequences, result in people missing their flights. If it turns out that a person cannot (or does not want to) pay the fine, the Enforcement Agency (CEA) will take this person to KIA for enforcement of their detention. To achieve this goal, KIA has already prepared cells for both men and women.

The Public Prosecution Service urgently calls on everyone, especially travelers, who have fines to settle them as soon as possible. Payments can be made online via ArubaBank account number 4000905, indicating the case number (starting with P).

Additionally, individuals can pay at the Public Prosecution Service cashier after scheduling an appointment through the website (www.omaruba.com). If you have any questions regarding your fine, you can send an email to [email protected]. You can also use the contact form on the website to ask questions.
