Aruba Health App digitalization project is on the right track

The Minister of Tourism and Public Health, Dangui Oduber, is pleased with the progress of the digitalization of the Aruba Health Application. This is a project where soon the entire healthcare sector will be digitalized using technology and innovation through the Aruba Health App.

Setar, along with the Ministry of Public Health and AZV, are working hard on the project to provide better service to our insured citizens. With the progress of the project, soon insured individuals will experience a significant change in the way they make appointments with their general practitioners through the Aruba Health Application platform.

As part of improving the quality and service of healthcare in Aruba, the “Aruba Health App” platform will become a means to make appointments via “MiDokterDiCas”, receive prescriptions via “MiRemedi”, and access other important information from the patient’s medical history. This platform’s innovation will allow insured individuals to access their medical information 24 hours a day, making the process faster.

Minister Dangui Oduber set the vision, and together with Setar and AZV, they have managed to introduce an innovative platform for Aruba where the patient is central and has more access to and control over their health. According to the Minister, this marks a “new era” of digitalizing the entire healthcare sector, resulting in improved services and quality of care so that all general practitioners can work more efficiently, transparently, and quickly. This also enables the community to be more informed and feel in control of their health and quality of life.

Minister Dangui Oduber thanks all partners who are tirelessly working to launch the Aruba Health App platform to the people of Aruba very soon.
