On Thursday morning, the Narcotics Unit conducted a police raid at a house on George Madurostraat. During the raid, two individuals were detained. They are C.C.R.R., 31 years old, born in Aruba, and J.G.K., 42 years old, also born in Aruba. Drugs and a firearm were confiscated during the police raid.
Several departments of the Aruba Police Force participated in the raid. It is not ruled out that there may be more arrests. The Narcotics Unit has been established since August 1, 2023, to investigate drug trafficking from properties and on the streets, among other tasks.
