On Friday morning, police rushed to the fire station in Tanki Flip to tend to an assault that had taken place nearby. A man, who apparently works as a goat caretaker, attacked another man, leaving him badly injured.
Police received information about the assailant’s vehicle and were able to track it down in the area near Hato. Police located the car, stopped the driver, and arrested him. The victim remained sprawled on the ground, injured, near the entrance of the fire station. Here, firefighters provided him with assistance while an ambulance was called.
The motive for the assault is not known.
