On Thursday afternoon at around 6:15 PM, an accident occurred on a road in Cumana. The accident was between two Kia-brand vehicles.
A brown Kia Rio was coming from Morgenster and upon reaching the intersection near the Bon Dia supermarket, it collided with the red Kia. The driver of the red car did not notice that the brown Sedan was coming. The red Kia pulled out in front of the brown Kia, and the driver of the brown Kia could not adjust the speed of their vehicle in time, resulting in the collision.
The impact of the collision was quite strong. Both cars suffered material damage. Police arrived at the scene to tend to the accident. An ambulance was requested to check on a person who was experiencing chest pain. After stabilizing the person, the ambulance transported them to the hospital for further medical examination.
