Andy Gomez: Approximately 800 children will be taking the swim exam

Schooling is reaching its final stages, and now the annual swim assessment exam has arrived. Around 800 children are participating in this annual swim exam to earn their diploma A or B.

Andy Gomez, School Swimming Coordinator, explained that they are currently conducting the annual assessment exam, which is held at the end of the school year. Between seven and eight-hundred children are taking the exams for diploma A and B this week. Everything is going very well so far.

Many parents have come to see their children taking the exam, which Gomez finds fantastic, because it allows the parents to support their children. Even though many of the parents are working, they make sure to take some time off to come and see their children. This gives the children a lot of support and helps to motivate them.

As for the challenges that they have faced this year, Gomez says that the main issue is that a lot of Friday classes get cancelled. This means that schools with classes on Fridays have had fewer lessons. The only issue on their part occurs when one of their coaches gets sick, as there is a shortage of instructors. As for the children, they are always willing and eager to show up to the swimming lessons.
