Early Friday morning, an accident occurred on a road in Turibana. Here, a woman who was driving an SUV lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the cacti on the side of the road. The reason she veered off the road was likely because the road was slippery due to the rain.
The vehicle got trapped amidst some tall cacti and shrubs. An alarm was immediately raised to the authorites, and the police arrived in record time. They requested a rescue teams as well, who arrived and had to cut down cacti and shrubs to free the woman from her vehicle.
While she was shaken up by the crash, she had luckily only suffered minor injuries. The car, however, suffered significant damage.
